'Feral' women tortured friend for 18 hours

Two young women have been jailed for the "sadistic" kidnapping and torture of a friend who they learned had slept with one of their ex-boyfriends. Lucy Viner-Mood, 22, and Lois Gibson, 18, locked Georgia Fenn in a flat and battered her unconcious during an assault which lasted more than 18 hours, Sky News informs.

Miss Fenn suffered a broken nose, second-degree burns to her chin, two black eyes and was covered in blood after the horror attack. The pair, described as "feral" by police, had lured her back to their flat in Langton Green, Kent, in the evening of March 28.

They stubbed cigarettes out all over her body, doused her in boiling water and stamped on her until she passed out after they discovered she had had sex with Viner-Mood's ex-boyfriend.

She was eventually thrown out of the flat at 2pm the next day wearing only a dressing gown. Judge Martin Joy, who described the assault as 'evil', sentenced Viner-Mood to five years in jail and Gibson to three years in a young offender institution.

Both admitted false imprisonment and assault causing actual bodily harm at Maidstone Crown Court. Miss Fenn, from Tunbridge Wells, Kent, told the court she now suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.

"It's been a really dreadful time and I have been really badly affected," she said.
"I'm not sure I will ever be right."

Detective Constable Adrian Grew said: "The behaviour of Lucy Viner-Mood and Lois Gibson can only be described as feral.

"The level of violence shown during their sadistic attack was made all the more shocking by the length of time it went on for."
