Democrat Liberal MEP Cristian Preda warned in a blog post that if the Boc government isn't replaced, PSD will be helped to secure once again the hegemonic position it had between 2000 and 2004, and the country will get to have a perfect copy of the Iliescu-Nastase rule, in which the new couple will be Geoana and Ponta.

"Recent opinion polls show an important change in opinion. PSD seems to have taken a big distance from other competitors, reaching almost 40 percent, while PNL and PDL's scores together don't make a majority anymore. PNL seems however to exceed its historic record of 20 percent and PDL falls to below 15 percent. What's surprising is PRM's comeback, a party still under 10 percent, but steadily on the rise. Should we hold elections today, the political configuration would rather look like the one created after 2000 elections, with a first ranked that has twice as many seats in Parliament than the second ranked (PNL instead of PRM). It's getting clearer that the public opinion's evolution encourages PSD which is planning to obtain an absolute majority in future elections, so as to be in the government alone," Preda wrote on his blog.

"If the current government's change will not take into consideration this major public opinion shift, PSD will be helped to secure once again the hegemonic position it had between 2000 and 2004," Preda explained.

"I believe that, taking these elements into consideration, we understand why some people would like to see the president impeached once again. This would lead to a perfect copy of the Iliescu-Nastase rule. The new couple would be Geoana-Ponta," Preda added.

Europarlamentarul PDL Cristian Preda atrage atentia intr-o postare pe blogul sau ca in cazul in care Guvernul Boc nu va fi schimbat, PSD va fi ajutat să ocupe din nou poziţia hegemonică pe care a avut-o în sistemul politic între 2000 și 2004, refacandu-se astfel o copie perfectă a guvernării Iliescu-Năstase, in care noul cuplu va fi Geoană-Ponta.

“Sondajele publicate în ultima vreme relevă o schimbare importantă a opiniei. PSD pare să se fi distanţat de ceilalţi competitori, tinzând spre 40%, în vreme ce scorul cumulat al PNL și PDL nu mai reprezintă majoritatea opiniei, PNL părând să depăşească totuşi recordul său istoric de 20%, dar PDL căzând sub 15%. Surprinde, de asemenea, revenirea PRM, partid aflat încă sub 10%, dar în vădită creştere. Dacă votul ar fi exprimat astăzi, configuraţia politică ar semăna mai degrabă cu cea creată de alegerile din 2000, cu un prim clasat având de două ori mai multe mandate decât cel de-al doilea (PNL în loc de PRM).Este din ce în ce mai clar că evoluţia opiniei publice încurajează PSD, care vizează obţinerea, la următoarele alegeri, a unei majorităţi absolute, care să îi permită o guvernare monocoloră”, scrie Cristian Preda, pe blog.

“Dacă schimbarea actualului guvern nu va ţine seama de această schimbare majoră în opinie, PSD va fi ajutat să ocupe din nou poziţia hegemonică pe care a avut-o în sistemul politic între 2000 și 2004” explica Preda.

“Cred că, luând în seamă aceste elemente, înțelegem și de ce unii ar vrea o nouă suspendare a Președintelui. S-ar obține astfel o copie perfectă a guvernării Iliescu-Năstase. Noul cuplu ar fi Geoană-Ponta.” a conchis Cristian Preda.
