The constructors of what will be Romania’s tallest building, Sky Tower – a 137 meter high skyscraper located in Bucharest – are working at a really fast pace, with six flats already completed a month and a half after the works began.

Construction works began at mid-September, and the ground floor and floors 1 and 2 were already done by September 27. These days, the workers already reached the 7th floor, so the whole building will be ready by the end of next year, if the pace of activity remains the same.

Sky Tower, located at the crossroad of the Barbu Vacarescu and Pipera boulevards in Bucharest, will be the tallest building of the country, taller than the 120 meter-high Bucharest Tower Center that stands in the Piata Victoriei Square.

Cele 36 de etaje ale celui mai înalt bloc-turn din România, care va avea 137 de metri, cresc cu o viteză uluitoare, unele peste altele. La o lună şi jumătate de la începerea lucrărilor, muncitorii au ajuns deja la etajul şase.

Construcţia imobilului Sky Tower a demarat la mijlocul lunii septembrie. La sfârşitul lunii, pe 27, avea deja parterul şi două etaje. Zilele trecutese lucra de zor la etajul şapte. Dacă ritmul de realizare a structurii se va menţine aşa, până la sfârşitul anului viitor aceasta va fi gata.

Situată la intersecţia dintre străzile Barbu Văcărescu şi Pipera, clădirea va fi cea mai înaltă din ţară. Până în acest moment, clădirea cu cea mai mare înălţime e Bucharest Tower Center, din Piaţa Victoriei, care măsoară 120 de metri.
