Ministry of Tourism will not pay the consortium that made the country brand until logo plagiarism is explained

The Ministry of Tourism and Development has announced they will not pay the service fee to THR-TNS consortium until aspects concerning copyright issues and the similarity between logo with other symbols sold on the internet is not cleared.

"We would like to say that MDRT did not pay anything to THR-TNS and will not honor the pay included in the contract until these aspects are clarified" a release from the ministry reads.

Romania's tourist brand with the slogan "Explore the Carpathian garden", was launched in Shanghai on Thursday and created a lot of controversy from launch. Media discovered the logo has as main element the leaf and is quite similar to an international transport company and is also present on a campaign banner of Oltchim company. The Ministry of Tourism and Development Elena Udrea denies the logo was plagiarized by saying it was given to the ministry with full copyrights.

Also, one of the companies that are part of THR-TNS consortium and has shares at CSOP, the polling institute the Democrat-Liberals have been working with in election campaigns, according to Realitatea TV. The Taylor Nelson Sofres company has 32% of the CSOP shares, according to Kamikaze magazine.
 


Ministerul Turismului nu va plati consortiul care a realizat brandul de tara pana nu justifica copierea logo-ului

 

Ministerul Dezvoltării şi Turismului a anuntat ca nu va efectua plata consorţiului THR-TNS până la clarificarea aspectelor legate de similitudinile dintre frunza din brandul turistic şi alte simboluri comercializate pe internet.

"Precizăm că MDRT nu a efectuat nicio plată către THR-TNS şi nici nu va efectua plăţi în cadrul acestui contract, până la clarificarea acestor aspecte", se arata in comunicatul de presa al MDTR.

Brandul turistic al României, cu sloganul "Explore the Carpathian garden", a lansat joi la Shanghai a starnit  controverse inca de la lansare. Presa a descoperit ca logoul, care are ca element principal frunza este foarte asemanator cu logoul unui proiect de transport internaţional si apare si pe bannerul unei campanii realizate de Oltchim. Ministrul Dezvoltării Regionale şi Turismului, Elena Udrea a neaga varianta ca logoul sa fi fost copiat mentionand ca a fost predat Ministerului cu drepturi de autor.

In plus una dintre firmele care fac parte din consortiul THR- TNS, este acţionară şi la CSOP, institutul  de sondare a opinie publice cu care a lucrat PDL în ultimele campanii electorale, informeaza Realitatea TV. Firma Taylor Nelson Sofres, deţine 32% din acţiunile CSOP, potrivit revistei Kamikaze.
