Constanta registered a temperature of 30 degrees Celsius on Sunday, an unprecedented temperature for this date in the seaside city. Thousands of tourists spent their weekend at the seaside and took advantage of the good weather.
“If we compare the temperature registered on Sunday with what the normal temperature for this time of year should have been, namely 30 degrees versus 15 degrees, we can realize how warm Sunday was on the seaside. It’s a record for April 28. The previous record was 27 degrees,” meteorologist Silviu Grigore stated on Romania TV.
The weather will continue to be particularly warm, at least halfway through next week. “On Monday maximum temperatures will reach 31 degrees in southern regions and on Tuesday the heat wave will intensify so there will be 33 degrees in southern Banat, meaning that we are one step away from scorching weather. 35 degrees being the threshold for scorching weather,” meteorologist Silviu Grigore stated. In the following days the threshold of tropical days will be crossed. “This warm period spans a period of several days. We are talking about a persistent period with values of over 25 degrees, even 30 degrees. 25 degrees is the temperature threshold of summer days, and 30 degrees is the temperature threshold of tropical days. We can very well integrate these values to the month of July from a climatologic point of view,” the specialist concluded.
RECORD DE TEMPERATURĂ în luna aprilie
În ziua de Florii, la Constanţa s-au înregistrat 30 de grade, temperatură nemaiîntâlnită la această dată, în oraşul de pe malul mării. Mii de turişti şi-au petrecut sfârşitul de săptămână pe litoral şi au profitat de vremea bună.
"Dacă comparăm temperatura înregistrată duminică, cu ceea ce ar fi normal pentru această perioadă, adică 15 grade versus 30 de grade, putem să ne dăm seamă cât de cald a fost în ziua de Florii pe litoral. Este un record pentru data de 28 aprilie. Precedentul record a fost cu trei grade mai mic", a declarat la România TV meteorologul Silviu Grigore.
Nici sâmbătă temperaturile nu au fost mai coborâte. "Au fost 33 de grade la Giurgiu, unde, de asemenea, au fost doborâte recordurile termice ale zilei de 27 aprilie în mai multe regiuni", a mai spus specialistul.
Vremea va continua să fie deosebit de caldă, cel puţin până la jumătatea săptămânii viitoare. "Luni, maximele vor ajunge la 31 de grade în sudul tarii, iar marţi, valul de căldură se va intensifica astfel încât vor fi 33 de grade în sudul Banatului, adică mai avem un pas pâna la pragul caniculei. 35 de grade este pragul caniculei", a precizat meteorologul Silviu Grigore.
În zilele care vor urma, se va depăşi pragul zilelor tropicale. "Această perioada caldă se extinde pe durata a mai multor zile. Este vorba despre o perioadă persistenta cu valori de peste 25 de grade, chiar 30 de grade. 25 de grade este pragul termic al zilelor de vară, iar 30 de grade este pragul termic al unor zile tropicale. Aceste valori le putem integra foarte bine în luna iulie din punct de vedere climatologic", a conchis specialistul.
