Chinese group Sinovel, the biggest Chinese wind industry producer and the second worldwide producer is planning to start a partnership with Faur factories, owned by brothers Emil and Marius Cristescu and start the wind turbines production in Bucharest.

"Recently, a mission of the International Affairs Department of the Chinese group Sinovel visited the Bucharest firm Faur. On this occasion there were some talks with the management of the firm, regarding the development of some projects in the energy field, in partnership with a firm from Bucharest.” reads a press release of the Chamber of Commerce.

The general manager of Faur, Mariana Hristea, told Mediafax that the Chinese firm was planning to open a factory. After visiting Faur factory, the Chinese decided to start the production in the Bucharest factory.

"They want to produce in our factory, because they realized that we have the necessary capacity. If we sign the agreement with them, we will make important investments and we will buy new production lines.” said Hristea.

She said that the negotiations are under development and a contract with the Chinese firm could be signed in the next months.

"They will produce wind turbines in partnership with us. They will come with the know-how and we will come with the production capacities.” Hristea also said.

 Sinovel group is developing in Romania two medium capacity projects and is planning to continue its development by building wind parks.

Cel mai mare producător chinez de turbine eoliene vrea să înceapă producţia în Bucureşti

Grupul chinez Sinovel, cel mai mare producător chinez din domeniul eolian şi numărul doi mondial, intenţionează să intre într-un parteneriat cu uzinele Faur, deţinute de fraţii Emil şi Marius Cristescu, şi să înceapă producţia de turbine eoliene la Bucureşti.

"Recent, o misiune a Departamentului Afaceri Internaţionale a grupului chinez Sinovel a vizitat firma bucureşteană Faur. Cu acest prilej au avut loc discuţii cu managementul societăţii privind realizarea unor proiecte în domeniul energetic, în parteneriat cu firma bucureşteană", se arată într-un comunicat al Camerei de Comerţ.

Directorul general al Faur, Mariana Hristea, a declarat agenţiei Mediafax că firma chineză intenţiona să deschidă o fabrică. Vizitând Faur, chinezii au decis să producă în uzina bucureşteană.

"Vor să producă în fabrica noastră, pentru că au constatat că avem capacitatea necesară. Dacă perfectăm contractul cu ei vom face investiţii importante şi vom cumpăra linii de producţie noi", a spus Hristea.

Ea a afirmat că negocierile sunt în derulare, iar un contract cu firma din China ar putea fi semnat în următoarele luni.

"Vor produce în parteneriat cu noi turbine eoliene. Ei vor veni cu know-how-ul, iar noi cu capacităţile de producţie", a mai spus Hristea.

Grupul Sinovel operează în România două proiecte de capacitate medie şi intenţionează să-şi continue dezvoltarea prin construcţia de parcuri eoliene.
